Nintendo:News/SEGA announces MadWorld

A few days ago we heard about the collaboration between SEGA and newbie Platinum Games. The first of the games that the developer will release, titled MadWorld, will probably be a critical success, something that publisher SEGA trully needs right now. IGN had an eyes on with it, and if anything this game seems to be more violent than the already released No More Heroes.

One of the primary reasons why gamers should look forward to this title are the people behind it - all from Capcom and now shut down Clover Studios. The people behind the game were the driving forces behind a multitude of hit titles, including but not exactly limited to -

• Resident Evil 4
• Devil May Cry
• Viewtiful Joe
• Okami

The game will be primarly in black and white, though you can expect plenty of red blood in there as well. The two images that have been revealed are certainly reminiscent of graphic novel Sin City, and the director of the game also admits to this. According to IGN, this is one of the bloodiest games they've ever seen, something that you wouldn't expect for the "family-friendly" Wii console. Once more details are announced, we'll certainly report on them. Expect plenty more at E3 2008!
